Monday’s guest is Gemma Bodinetz, artistic director of the Liverpool Everyman-Playhouse Theatres. Gemma’s theme will be “why theatre is important in Liverpool”.
The evening starts with a welcome drink (courtesy of RSA) at 6.30pm. Dinner begins at 7.00pm. The speaker – and discussion – follows after the main course. The event finishes around 10.00pm when everyone is welcome in the new downstairs bar.
We propose to sponsor a seat at the new Everyman theatre. If we raise £500 we shall be able to name the seat for the RSA, which will be a great way to recognise the Society’s presence in the City and Fellows’ involvement in its cultural life.
Fellows and guests coming to the dinner are invited to pledge an amount to reach the £500 target. One local Fellow has kindly and personally guaranteed to cover any shortfall up to £100.
Email Kevin to make your pledge!
Let’s keep things going in Liverpool and huge thanks to Kevin for connecting fellows in the NW.
