The media was buzzing yesterday as we saw the final City Growth Commission report published.
You will have a chance to hear Ben Lucas, one of the Commissioners and Principal Partner at RSA2020, speak at the revamped Liverpool debate evening starting at 6.15pm on Monday 10 November at Liverpool’s spectacular Anglican Cathedral. Ben will focus on the emerging thinking of the Commission, including agglomeration effects and benefits, and how collaboration and connectivity, especially around infrastructure, can enable growth in the north.
This is the first time the Liverpool network will hold their event at the Cathedral’s Welsford Restaurant and all are welcome. The restaurant is booked for the evening, which is accessed from the back of the Cathedral (overlooking St James’ Garden and the Georgian Quarter). There is a cash bar which will be open throughout the evening and we expect to finish by 9pm.
Please book BEFORE 3rd November via the Cathedral Shop. You can then enter your details and pay a £5 non-refundable deposit. You will be asked to pay for the remainder on the night, along with any extra drinks and £3 for parking, if you’ve brought your car.
The Cathedral is easy to find by car (Sat Nav L1 7AZ). Liverpool Central and Lime Street stations are both about 20 minutes’ walk away. A taxi should cost around £4 from either station. See the Cathedral website for further details.
We look forward very much to seeing you at the Cathedral for what will be a great RSA evening.
