Theme for this year’s debate: ‘Power to Create’
RSA Chief Executive Matthew Taylor will give his lecture ‘Power to Create’, which explores new thinking around the empowering and encouraging of people to become active participants in creating the world they want to live in. There will be a response to the lecture by Mike Blackburn, Chair of Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership and Vice President, Strategy & Planning for BT Global Government.
Keeping to the ‘creative’ theme, Manchester School of Architecture and School of Art students will also investigate the idea of designing a sustainable work space or place of work using the circular economy. The final of the RSA North West’s student competition will take place on the day when shortlisted students will present their ideas before a prestigious panel and the audience.
Following this there will be the North West Regions’ Annual Meeting. We hope you can join us.
